We would like to welcome you to our website and tell you a little about ourselves. John and I live in Mt Eliza, Victoria, Australia, we have been proud Dane owners for over 25 years, our first Dane, Savvik, being a rescue Dane. After her death at 14.5 years we wanted to purchase Harlequins with pure Harlequin backgrounds as a foundation to what was to be the start of our Kennel, Danedreamer Great Danes.
John and I are dedicated to the breed, but since a work place accident in 2003 left me with a serious injury to my right arm, shoulder and hand, the physical challenges of showing and breeding are no longer an option.
Our policy is still Quality, not Quantity.
Our pursuit of quality has been rewarded us by breeding some beautiful Harlequins which you will see throughout our website, of which we are very proud of our beautiful Harlequin boy Chad, Danedreamer War Dance, who was born 6/4/04 and he was named after the lead singer of my favourite rock band Chad Krueger of Nickelback. Chad is sired by BISS Aust Champ Stordansk G'Stone Webe Awesum (Imp USA) his Dam Quintessa Galadriel is a beautiful bred harlequin, I have not shown Chad as much as I would have liked to due to my injury, but he is a champion lounge lizard and bed hog and is my constant companion, he is a beautiful calm sweet natured boy and draws attention wherever he goes. Chad is a tall elegant dog that excels in breed type with a powerful hindquarter drive, holding his topline perfectly on the move, as seen in the photos from the Melbourne Royal 2007.
Chad has sired some beautiful dogs and pups has grandkids being shown in the ring at present and he has sired two litters recently of 17 and 16 pups, he is available to approved bitches.
